So are you Artists or Designers?

In a word, Both. Someone once said to me, "Well, you put the picture in the computer and it does it for you, right?" the answer to which is a very prompt NO. No more than owning a ruler makes you a Draftsman or owning a chess board makes you Gary Kasparov. A computer, for all its wonder and majesty in this day and age, is still no more than a glorified paintbrush. And this is where we at Third Tree Productions differ from others: We understand what you want. We realize that to be an asset to you, we have to see, touch, and experience what you do. By understanding your goals, we can give you the piece you need. We do not create "fly-by-night" contracts and agreements, or simply hand off work to others. We create it in-house, and We create it in-house, and we maintain it here too. We forge together pieces that are a Fusion of Us and You.

Fusion: Us and You

That is the concept that we adhere to most fervently: your success is our success, and a merging of minds is the only way to achieve something that is truly greater than the sum of the minds that created it. Just as we use whatever tool we have at our disposal in order to create a great piece, so too should you. Don't limit yourself to mediocre marketing, advertising, packaging, logo design or websites simply because you feel that no one understands your vision. We will. Try us, and we'll both be amazed by what we can create together.n it here too. We forge together pieces that are a Fusion of Us and You.

What is Fusion?

Fusion, simply stated, is the merging of differing styles and tools to create ageless design. Age and trends are the single biggest enemies of all things creative, and very few keep their modernity for any length of time. To offset this,we apply all the artistic tools at our disposal: Conventional illustration and painting skills; Image creaton and manipulation tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter, Freehand, and even the freeware app GIMP; 3d Apps like Maya, Cinema 4d, Poser and Bryce; and layout programs such as Quark XPress and InDesign. Our loyalty to applications goes only as far as the limitations of the application; if another app does it better, then we use that instead, and if we don't know the app, we learn it. Again, Art is a Journey, not a destination. A great artist never just IS a great artist, they are becoming a greater artist by the day. An artist that is the most amazing Adobe Illustrator Guru you ever met is only as good as the limitations of the application. Fusing all talents together generates a piece that, not to be trite, is truly greater than the sum of its parts.
